Depeche Mode Tour of the Universe Barcelona
Depeche Mode DVD are here and played competently.
The grungy “I Feel You” blasts through the speakers intensely. “Stripped” builds up as epically as it does on record. “Never Let Me Down Again” works as the perfect main set closer, extending itself to heights it never reaches on the studio version.
The problem is that many of the songs played for the Barcelona shows have already appeared on DVD/CD. During several other tour dates, the set included “Master and Servant” and “Strangelove”, neither of which have been on a filmed release since the late ’80s.
A serene "Waiting For The Night" with the concert wraps up at the time.

Depeche Mode much glad because Andy Fletcher joins Playground Weekende
If we can't known about Depeche Mode's greatest famous live so hearing them cued up by one of their creators is not bad going.
Fletcher to his DJing modus operandi says, “My set is really classic electro from New Order and Depeche Mode mixed with some new stuff like Client and Scissor Sisters. I try to tell a historical story of where Depeche Mode and Client have come from with artists like Bowie and Donna Summer, so the listener has some sense of influence.”

The Depeche Mode Tour Of The Universe Trailer
You know how the old folk go on about how great Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones an Pink Floyd were? Like me you probably think - <"uh no". Well for me - Depeche Mode are the hands-down equivalent in my book - the true kings of electronic pop - rock and roll gods. So you can only imagine how excited I am to have a new memento (on Blu Ray too -eek!) of their Tour Of The Universe. This tour was exceptionally memorable for me too - it was the first time I've got to backstage at a Depeche Mode show - yes I'm trying to make you jealous here - is it working? Definitely one of my top ten moments of the year.

Depeche Mode and sponsors donate £400k to Teenage Cancer Trust
The Mode have been doing various fundraising things during their Hublot-sponsored tour, including auctioning off twelve unique Depeche Mode watches made by the sponsor.
They presented the big fat cheque at a concert in aid of the Trust at the Albert Hall last week. The Mode gig was part of the Roger Daltrey's annual fundraising concert programme, even though it preceded the others by a month.
By the way, during that show former Moder Alan Wilder joined the band on stage during their encore, the first time he has appeared with the band since quitting fourteen years ago.
